Ok, I'm Swedish and my boyfriend is Chinese. We're currently living in Denmark since he's studying here, but we have an apartment in China that we might move to when he's finished studying here in Denmark. I know that if we get married, he'll be able to get permanent residencevisa to stay here, but how's the rules in China? I'm fully open to move to China, but don't know how it will be with the VISA... I'd rather not have to go to HK every 6 months or so to re-new it How difficult is it to get residence visa for china without applying chinese citizenship? I'm not wanting to cancel my swedish citizenship so...

Need some information...

Hi ZhenNi,

Chinese Green Card will be a good solution for you. With it, you can stay in China for an unlimited period of time, at the same time, you won't have to give up your Swidish citizenship. Here is a very detailed article about how to applying chinese green card,

I think i could definitely belong to this category in the future: IV Come to China to be with your family, such as husband or wife, minors dependent on their parents, and senior citizens dependent on their relatives.

Me and my boyfriend might get married sometime in the future when we're ready for it
